Issues
The MSCA will join any senior citizen or activist speaking on behalf of the senior citizen community in taking up any justifiable cause, though the group has campaigned on its own prioritized agenda for some time. Ultimately, this agenda seeks to greatly alleviate some of the most pressing problems found throughout the Montana landscape, particularly pertinent to those over the age of 55. Ideally, Montana will be the perfect place to live, love and stay for retirement, but this is only possible with the cooperation of state government and local government in making the changes we have worked hard toward for several years now.Issue Priorities
- A comprehensive health care program, including long term care, as millions are without adequate health care coverage.
- Oppose the invasion of the Coal Tax Trust Fund.
- Campaign to lower the cost of prescription drugs.
- Oppose a general sales tax in Montana.
- A goal of MSCA is to have reliable, affordable, renewable energy for all Montanans while conserving energy for our future.
